Mrs. Cleo Speight peacefully slept away on Nov. 1, 2017 at Greendale Nursing and Rehab Center in Snow Hill. Born on Oct. 23, 1937 to the late Robert and Nellie Parker. Cleo attended the area schools of Greene Co., later marrying her sweetheart David Speight.
Together they shared a blessed life and welcomed 3 children to the world. David and Cleo worshiped at Lewis Chapel FWBC in Farmville, faithfully until their health declined.
Cleo was preceded in death by all her siblings and her husband David.
Left to cherish her memories are the children; David(Keisha)Speight, Lamoris Speight, and Lisa Speight Atkinson, 8 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
