Ebron Family,
I am so sorry to hear of Joe's passing, I haven't seen him in over 20 years, yet my heart has a hole now. Joe and I worked together at Greenville PD. We worked on the CAT squad under then Sgt. CJ Hardy. I used to love riding with Joe when we were assigned together. We would laugh and carry on, and he would sing in the car. I only let him sing when I was driving. :) Honestly, I used to enjoy his singing....he had an amazing voice. We would sometimes get into some stuff together on the streets. He was faster than I was, so when someone took off running, it was Joe's job to run 'em down. I'd jump in the car and follow! He was so much fun and I thought he was a great police officer. I always knew he had my back on the streets. I hope he felt the same way. Although I haven't seen him in so long, I'll miss him. I am thankful that he is in God's presence, and I hope he's one of the first people I get to see when I arrive there. Take care of yourselves. Know that he was greatly respected and loved by those of us who worked those streets with him. I pray that God grant you strength, courage, and peace as you move forward.
